Mid-Century Scalloped Glass Chandeliers by Quattro Zero for Fontana Arte
Mid-Century Scalloped Glass Chandeliers by Quattro Zero for Fontana Arte
This unique and strikingly elegant Pair of Mid-Century Modernist Scalloped Verde Nilo Glass Chandeliers by Quattro Zero for Fontana Arte originates from Italy, Circa 1960. They feature large Verde Nilo curved glass shades with precisely executed and evenly spaced chips that form chain beveled detailing along the edges of each shade. These small bites beautifully display the naturally occurring variations in the glass. Surrounding the body of the chandelier, the shades are attached to the frame with spherical chrome fittings which also support a circular disk of frosted glass which diffuses light while concealing the bulbs and undersurface of the chandelier. Hung from a chrome chain and canopy, these chandeliers make a stunning pair, styling beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Spaces. Newly rewired to American Standards with height that can be adjusted to suit, each fixture accommodates 4 candelabra based bulbs each achieving up to 240 watts per chandelier. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
