Mid-Century Modern Lidded Ice Bucket by Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths
Mid-Century Modern Lidded Ice Bucket by Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths
This elegant Mid Century Modern ice bucket/ wine cooler was designed by the legendary Tommi Parzinger for Dorlyn Silversmiths circa 1960. It offers a striated circular slightly convex base with a cylindrical neck and a bullet form cylindrical body that flares slightly at its top all in lustrous brass. Additionally, the piece features two sculptural handles; banding detailing running horizontally across the center; and a conical finial with a circular bobeche. The piece has a glass center, making it ideal for storing ice (as well as your favorite bottle of wine/ champagne). With its beautiful craftsmanship and clean modernist lines, this piece would be a winning addition to any style of interior from classic Mid Century Modern to contemporary. It is in very good vintage condition.
