Rare Biedermeier Chair in Solid and Veneered Cherrywood, Germany, circa 1825

$1,800.00

A rare Biedermeier chair in solid and veneered cherrywood with a somewhat oversized and very comfortable seat cushion attractively decorated in a geometric design in cream and topaz silk patterns The backrest is curved with a tilted shoulder and ends in a volute -shaped scroll, the center section is comprised of three vertical struts, delicately incised creating a striking and unusual pattern.
