An elegant Art Deco dining table by Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller (#3725) in Maidou burl and mahogany.
A stunning tabletop in Maidou burl and mahogany delicately decorated with an attractive pattern of squares inset with thin lines criss crossing across the surface the whole firmly supported by two solid streamlined curved table legs. The table legs are connected with a mahogany crossbar for added support. This magnificent table comes with an extension leaf which is fully finished and can be easily added to turn the table into a large dining table seating as many as 12 people. A stylish multi purpose table which can be used as a large desk, a medium or large dining table or an impressive conference table. Restored to mint condition. It is also documented in the 1939 Gilbert Rohde for Herman Miller Catalogue, American, circa 1939.
